Kirsten Johnson’s energy definitely was shown when she taught our class. She was energetic, friendly, funny, and powerful. Something that Kirsten would do is that she would move around the room. Something that she said is that being in the front of the room like most teachers are establishes a hierarchy. It shows power and that is why she likes moving around the room to make sure everyone is involved. She made sure that everyone was involved, even the people in the back. She would walk all around the classroom and ask everyone around the room questions. She made sure almost everyone was involved and participating. She also spoke a lot about movement and how that is crucial in any film because it shows different perspectives and can cause an effect to those watching. In the film, there is a point where she lays on the ground to get a shot of the carrots.
